“A lot of DMs asking why I’m not at NYFW, and the simple answer is: a very anxious little girl starts school today! Being with her during this important moment was my top priority. There’s no place I’d rather be,” wrote Max Verstappen’s girlfriend.
“As a single parent, I can only depend on myself to ensure everything is ready and that P gets the emotional support she needs. That means turning down paid jobs and travel. It’s a sacrifice every parent must make, and I won’t hesitate. Fashion Week will happen again, but there’s only one first day of school,” Piquet concluded.
