I’ve been skiing since I was five years old and have traveled all over Europe to ski on some of the continent’s most beautiful mountains. Over the years, I’ve discovered some incredible places that offer not only stunning scenery but also great skiing conditions and plenty of amenities for skiers of all levels. Here are my top picks for the best places to go skiing in Italy:

Bormio

Bormio is located in Lombardy, near the Swiss border, and offers some of the most challenging slopes in Italy. The area has been hosting World Cup races since the early 1900s and is known for its steep descents and deep powder snow. Bormio also boasts excellent facilities, including several luxury hotels and restaurants serving delicious local cuisine.
